The league can also experiment with creating games among others in the league on the official Rummikub app. In the app, you are able to create a custom game and invite people with a unique code:

Whoever initiates the game just needs to use coins you earn in the app. Just set it at the lowest amount of 100. The only disadvantage (to some that take their sweet ass time) is that you have to set a time limit for turns. The max is 2 minutes.

You’d play this game and submit scores just as if you were playing in real life.

The app is pretty good and may be addictive, especially for people that might be inclined to build an entire website on Rummikub. But we’re not naming names. You can also play in a web browser.
